Simple image codes and text codes to help you!
Put a image on your site
These are all very simple things to help you to change your pages. Just copy the codes under what it is you want to change on this page, and change whatever is in ALL CAPS and nothing else (unless you already know what your doing!)
Want to put a image on your site?
First of all, you will need the image to be uploaded to the internet so it can work.
Say you made a image on Photoshop, or you found a image on the web and saved it to your computer, and now you want to put it on your website or Myspace page.
You will need to go to
Photobucket.comor
Imageshack.usor
tinypic.com (some of these require you to sign up for a free account, but its VERY worth it!)
You will upload the picture to your account.
For instance, if you have a account at Photobucket, com at the top of the page you will see three blank text spaces with "browse" buttons next to each one of them, and under all three of these a "upload" button.
Pres the first "browse" button and locate the picture you'd like to put on your web page.
When you find it, click on it, and press "open"
Once you've done that click the "upload" button.
Once your page has uploaded if you scroll down you will see a small image of the picture you've just uploaded and four codes under it.
Copy the second code, or the code that says "direct link" or "url" To copy the code, highlight it and then right click over it, and press "copy"
Then you are going to paste it into this code, replacing where the all caps are with the url code you have just copied.
Thats it! Once you have entered this in and saved the page you put the coding into, your image will show up!
Clickable image
Now lets say you want to do exactly this, but you want to make it so if someone clicks on this image they will be taken to a website or your Myspace page.
Maybe you have a banner for your website and you want people to use this image rather then a plain old text link to get to your site...
for example...

If you click on my site banner, it will take you to geminimoon.net no matter where I put it.
To do this, upload your image to tinypic.com or Photobucket.com just like I said in the beginning of this page.
Once you've done this, copy the url to your image.
Paste it into this code....
Whre it says "YOURSITE.COM" replace it with the site you want people to be directed to when they click your image.
Then replace where it says "IMAGE.gif" with the url to your image.
Thats it!
Save your page, and it will be ready for you! Easy huh?
Text Link
Lets say you just want to make a text link. A text link is a compilation of text, or words that when clicked on will take you to whatever website you want it to.
Replace "YOURSITE.COM" with the website you want people to go to when they click the text, and replace "TEXT HERE" with the text you want for people to click on to be taken to that site.
For example...
